The BenchSmart 96 from Metratoledo/Rainin is a semi-automatic 96/384 well pipetter designed for researchers who require the accuracy and reproducibility of automated liquid handling while still needing the speed and flexibility of manual pipetting. It features three quickly interchangeable pipette heads that can be used in a range from 0.5μL to 1000μL. The touchscreen displays suction, dispensing, and tip attachment/detachment. The pipetting modes include basic mode, advance, continuous dispensing, dilution, reverse, volume sequence, mixing, and cycle count. The BenchSmart 96 can adapt quickly and flexibly to nearly all applications, whether it’s adjusting operational speed, accurately positioning tips within plates or reservoirs, or rapidly changing protocol sequences. Additionally, with four trays arranged in a row, the need to swap trays and reservoirs is minimized, leading to time savings and reduced risk of errors.
